hello again, long forgotten friend! what is it with me and my sporadic blogging? sorry to the -12 people who actually read this bundle of insanity. maybe this will be an important blog someday, but i don't think that day is coming anytime soon.

anyway, since my last post was about the 4 boys, i will go ahead and say that there are only 2 now. one likes me, and i like one, and they aren't the same person sadly. isn't life just a huge square sometimes?

things in my life are odd. mainly because, for some reason, there are [shudder] BOYS in my life. :) haha, this usually isn't a problem. but now, there are FOUR, and each with merits and demerits, and i have no notion as to who i like or any of that ridiculous nonsense. blahhhh.

in other news, i like the band Paramore. a lot. very much. averymuchlot. :D

hello, the internet. sorry I haven't been around much lately. school is insane. :P

anyway, so. a lot has been going on lately, you know? mostly, homework. geh. BUT, yesterday, my friend the Lizard and I had a ridiculous time in the car to and from a choral clinic. so that was good. :D

and OH. the other thing that must be told to you, internet: I am in love. sorta. we think. and NOT with a song or band this time, like with a dude! [gasp] yeah. in this blog, I think I used to call him Christos of Pha.......but that sounds very much like something I would've said in middle school. so I'm going to think of something better........but not yet. :)

that's about all i can say at the moment. isn't that sad? i'm a novelist, a songwriter, a poet, and an avid friend-talker-to, but all i can say is wow. one word that is barely a word at all, more like a pitiful excuse for a word. geez.

well, in case anyone is wondering, i am having some...interesting problems. no, it's not that Shan guy again....though really maybe it is a little bit? partly him and partly another guy, who i think is super cool and everything but not THAT way anymore......geez.

in other news, GEEZ i need to blog more often! so fnuppin' much has happened since the last time i blogged that i cannot possibly hope to cover it all. there are 2 big things though. let me list them below, and then briefly/non-briefly describe them for you:

1. i went to summer camp as a CIT 1 and it BEASTED. i have never had so much fun. ever in my lifetime. yup. it was absolutely fabulous.

2. i, Skyefish/Ellen/whatever other pseudonyms i am using, IS OVER SHAN/SHMALEX/WHATEVER OTHER PSEUDONYMS FOR HIS NAME THERE ARE. yup. and i have said that before but i swear on my woodcookie and my letters from Kelp that i really am over it this time. and that swear is like the most serious thing ever, so be explained below.

there is nothing more i have to say about the nasty Shan business, so on to a MUCH more important thing: CAMP!!!! oh my goodness gracious, it was literally the bestest place ever. legit. but i was there for 2 weeks (13 days, actually, and 12 nights) but as a CIT 1 (counselor-in-training part 1) we got to do counselor stuff AND camper stuff, which was delightful. and all the CITs got counselor "big sisters" who we can go to with problems and who we love unconditionally (at least in me and my bcffl Phoenix's case) and they are AWESOME. and my big's name is Kelp. and she is the most awesome person on the face of the earth, followed closely by my cousin Amy and Stephenie Meyer. and then me and my friends, of course.

but anyway, Kelp--she's a beast. she's like, all the stuff that you are supposed to be as a counselor (good at fire-building, AWESOME BEYOND REASON, knows lots of songs, friendly to kids, good at arts and crafts, etc) and she's also EVERYTHING that i want to be as a counselor. because you see, even when i am the part of me that i am at camp, i am not exactly the most loud and outgoing person ever. and Kelp is freakishly awesome, even though she is quieter than some of the other counselors. which makes her several times cooler than anyone exactly like her who is just naturally as loud as the others. yup.

I am in love.

no, it's not what you think (although, that might be true as well....tehe). I am in love with high speed internet, and through it, The Ready Set and Forever the Sickest Kids. They are two ahmazing bands that I discovered whilst stumbling around youtube....and wow, they rock. the singer for The Ready Set, Jordan [very complicated last name that I cannot spell] is gorgeous and sings fantastically, and the drummer of FTSK (I think his name is Kyle Burns...idk though) has beastly hair. and, basically, they rock.

so, yeah. unfortunately, I am broke, and therefore cannot buy their music....sigh.

in other news, summer is boring. sort of. I have to start something hideously annoying tomorrow that lasts 4 days, 8 hours per day. yeah. it's like school, but boring-er, and my friends won't be around much. :( sad day, I know. but I gotta pay my dues. echkkkkkk.

didn't I tell you that there would be more to this whole "Ellen" and "Shan" business? didn't I?

well, anyway, the title of this blog/post/thing is a quote directly from the infamous Shan. well, at least, a pretty-close-to-direct quote.....but yeah, so, Ellen is pretty much thinking that she likes Shan again and will probably, in the end, give him another chance.....BUT DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH. weird things happen in Ellen's life, folks. very weird things.

so, yeah, if I catch ANY of you holding your breath, and you haven't passed out/asphyxiated yet, i will take you down. yup.

my life=weird

haha, i hope you all are ready for a story, because have i got one? YES. here goes:

once upon a time, there was a girl named....we'll call her Ellen. so Ellen is a pretty cool person (maybe) and so this guy......we'll call him Shan, okay? Shan is very cute, and Ellen likes him, sorta, and they used to date, and then they broke up and didn't speak for like 6 months, and then they become like REALLY good friends, very suddenly. and Ellen knows that Shan still likes her, but it's fun to be around him because she knows he won't hurt her or anything.

here's the catch though--Ellen starts to like Shan again. OH NO! so they flirt all the time and everything. and then, one day......well, first let me say that Shan kinda knows that Ellen is becoming attracted to him again. he's not an idiot. so, anyway, one day Ellen asks Shan if he still likes her. and after a lot of distracting side-talk, he says, get this, NO.

and wow, Ellen's heart just cracks right in two! now see, Ellen is incredibly honest and has never once lied to Shan, until that day at least, because he asks her if she's okay and she says that she is and makes a hasty exit.

but Ellen is very NOT okay.

so she cries herself to sleep, is all out of sorts for a few days (the weekend) and then she comes back to school and pretends that nothing happened. she still hangs out with and talks to Shan, but with slightly less gusto than before because Ellen thinks it is a lost cause. but, oddly, Shan keeps doing very.......suggestive-of-liking-her things, like texting her goodnight randomly and being always very nice to Ellen.

so, in any case, Ellen and Shan were texting one afternoon, and Shan asked her if she liked him. and Ellen kind of just rolled her eyes and tried to avoid the question, because, in her mind, it doesn't matter one way or the other since Shan doesn't like her. but, since she is honest, she eventually tells him that yes, in fact she does, at least in some respect.

and, HOLY COW, apparently Shan still likes her! he tells Ellen that the night he told her he didn't he was lying. and wow, Ellen flips her lid. "EXCUSE ME?" she types, "do you have any idea what that did to me?" and Shan apologizes profusely and begs her forgiveness, saying that he only said that because it was almost the summertime and they wouldn't see each other anyway and he's just SO sorry.

okay, so, Ellen is just like, wow. on the one hand, she is excited/happy that Shan does, in fact, still like her. however, on the other hand, she is upset with him for lying to her and also TERRIFIED of what is going to happen next--like, where does this leave Ellen and Shan's perfect friendship?

one large question mark

wow. I spoke too soon. I broke up with "the boyfriend" earlier this week, and everyone in sight is pouncing on me to pick my next prize.

however, I don't exactly want a new boyfriend just yet. I do enjoy being single. it is rather nice, because nothing is expected of you by anyone and you can flirt to your heart's desire. or rather, I can. I am not aware of YOUR relationship status, reader. if you're in a relationship, flirting with everyone is probably not the best idea.

however, I am scoping the skies. I have one very solid option, though not a single person that I know would ever encourage me toward it. there is another less solid, emo option, but I dunno about him. I am just epically confused.

haha, you know how I used to post constantly, like almost every day, faithfully and happily and always update as much as I could? obviously, that stopped dead. :( it's Facebook's fault, I swear ti's some sort of drug or something...

anyway, hello again blog! it's hilarious, the last thing I was ranting about was the guy in my Biology class, right? THAT WAS LAST SEMESTER! school is almost over, and eleventy kadillion things have happened since them. unfortunately, I neither have the time nor the desire to tell you about them all. however, a few things you must know.

1. I have a new boyfriend! well, not quite new, we've been together almost 2 months, but he's pretty awesome. good times.

2. geometry sucks. like, literally, it s-u-c-k-s. mhmm. don't deny it, internet, you know you agree.

3. I should not be on the internet right now, I have an enormous 4-part book project due in less than a month.

on the note of that last thing, lemme go. I will try oh-so-hard to keep up this blogging thing, even though I am in love with Facebook.....haha, hopefully talk to you soon, internet!

explaining my problems to the internet

okay, so apparently on FaceBook there isn't a rant application (at least, not that I have found), so that, at least, is still the job of Blogger. so, here goes! enjoy, few who view this page!

alright, so hear the deal, i REALLY like this guy who for argument's sake will be called 'celery' (i'm not arguing anything, but he's celery, 'kay?) he's in one of my classes at school and he is so incredibly hot and cute and amazing and beautiful and sweet and all these other great things, but there is no way that he'd ever notice me at all. he actually talked to me a few days ago, but whatever. but it has been made known to me that he has a beautiful out-of-town blonde girlfriend and he has visited her and gone on vacay with her so i stand no chance. but i can't get him out of my head or my heart or my dreams or anything but i know it is fruitless. i have written two songs. i am without a doubt one of those annoyingly obsessed freshman that the upperclassmen roll their eyes at but i can't do a thing about it. sigh. and sigh again.

I survived! i went to HS, pwned big time, didn't die, or get lost, or beat up, or anything else! even though this kid in my Biology class stuck his huge hairy legs in the aisles on either side of my desk and blocked me in, there was also this really cute kid in that class. he won't notice me though, but that's the second best kind of crush--you can fantasize however you like and they'll never know! woot!

two things, specifically. honestly, i don't even really like the letter F, but whatever. i guess without it you couldn't spell lots of important words and phrases. okay.

FOOTBALL~this is the first F thing. i attended the first varsity football game yesterday (although i think it is weird that it was before school started.......) we were pounded into pudding by the other team. i think that i am a jinx.

FACEBOOK~this is the second and more exciting F thing. i got a Facebook wall!!! hurray hurrah huzzay huzzah! life is purdy rockin' sometimes, isn't it?

except now we have to start school. I was excited until i tried to find my classes. i'm scared. pray for me, internet friends!

hmm. i guess this is what my body does when it doesn't know whether to be upset or happy or just accepting. hmm. interesting.

well, in case you are wondering about those odd mix of emotions, i no longer have a boyfriend. hmm. weird how that happens, ya know? good thing then that we're starting a new school, with all sorts of amazingly hot older guys running around who'd love to get a younger chick. yeah, they don't want a younger chick (or so they currently think *mischievous*).

but whatever. life goes on. flowers bloom. storms brew. terrorists make bombs. lie detectors detect lies. ovens cook. tea leaves release sweet bitterness into hot water. baseball players get thrown out at second. vampires suck blood. babies scream. and maybe for once i can think of something besides trying to plot out tomorrow. maybe this is better, in a way. never figured myself one to commit, anyway.
