i don't know what the title is about, but my dad just tried to make a sarcastic big deal about it. so, yeah. today was the EOC, which stands, of course, for Ear Of Corn, if you have been living under a rock somewhere and didn't already know. or maybe you were living in a hole....in which case GET YOURSELF OUT NOW! don't you know that Algebra, a source of useless quadratics, can also fall into holes??????

so, how is your life, random bloggers? life for me is pretty good, but slowly and occasionally approaching bad. but, in good news, i am becoming a real wiz at designing and writing programs on my graphing calculator. *teehee giggle squee* it's so hilarious! i made one that asked if you were the banana king, and if you said yes it said 'hurray for you!' and if you said no it said 'so sorry...' isn't that just so funny? or, at least, so random?

OH! speaking of 'So Random' and the show that encompasses it, 'Sonny With A Chance' the theme song for that song gOt StUcK iN mY hEaD!!! and it isn't even really the greatest song at all!!!!! *sigh*

not that the title makes any sense, but i just feel like it......

well, my grandmother (the cool one from the South, not the......interesting one from the North) got in today. her flight was like and hour and a half late and then we had to wait for half an hour for her luggage and it was so random and boring and stuff.............

i am somewhat proud of myself! i only imagined PG-13 rated things at school today around my boyfriend like twice! *weird giggles* not, like, bad PG-13 things. mostly just like making out. but only about twice today. good days, sweet days.

i have INCREDIBLY soft hair! isn't that the best????

yeah. the title says it all. there is really nothing else required to say, but i feel the need to comment on my surroundings briefly, since they are not of the norm.

i am at school, in computer lab number 3 (yes, we are so rich at our school we have three labs shizam!) and i am researching manta rays for an oceans project for my science class although we really shouldn't be working since it is after the EOGs and all.................but, yeah, we're in here rocking and stuff and all is pretty much good in the world.

except for all the bad things, like i'm sick and the music dude at my church got arrested AGAIN on more serious charges and i am hungry and i could really use a butler..............

but, yeah, besides that life rocks. guten morgen.

i am way ticked off right now. if i were a worse or slightly less controlled person, this blog post would be a semi-intelligible mass of swear words. however, just know that my anger is burning holes in the parts of my neck right under my ears and the fronts of my shoulders. i am very angry.

firstly, earlier today, i discovered that the cool applications were deleted from my calculator. now, this got me REALLY WHIZZED, but i was reassured by my Algebra teacher that she would do all in her power to get this fixed. so, then, i was okay.

secondly, my boyfriend, whom i love dearly, thinks that he failed his math EOG. this doesn't exactly make me angry, well, maybe a little for him selling himself short, but mostly just high-wired and nervous for him. i want him to do well. i need him to do well. he simply must pass this stupidly standardized test. the magical 8-ball wills it. (not a drug 8-ball, the magic fortune telling kind. duh...)

then, lastly, i have been having a little spat with a friend of mine who i refer to on this blog as the Lizard. well, we were duking it out via email, and her mother gets into her email account, reads one of the emails that i sent to Lizard, and then replies to it, trying to be a mediator and shield the cold, hard, truth-ity-truth from her daughter's extremely innocent ears. now, i realize that she means well, and that she is only trying to mend our friendship, but, to me, that makes me even madder at Lizard than i was before. it isn't her fault that her mom read my email, but some things were meant to not literally be said in the open for other people to hear. some things are personal battles that are meant to be confined to Cyberspace, and between two people specifically. it is a sick, twisted reality indeed when something as personal as a little friendship spat email is opened by people other than the intended reader. a sick reality indeed.

i think i liked being on a cloud better. screw reality. just screw it.

anyway, *don't try this at home or in a hotel alert* did you know that if you place a CD in a microwave on full power it sparks and crackles and the electricity arcs across it? and if you throw it up against something hard, like the wall, all the silvery stuff comes off like confetti, leaving only a slightly burned pattern on the plastic? don't ask me how i know, because i really haven't got many details, like what the kid's names were, or what CD it was, or how long it was in the microwave or any of that. just DON'T EVER EVER TRY IT! IT COULD BREAK YOUR MICROWAVE, GET YOU IN TROUBLE, OR CATCH YOUR FAVORITE PAIR OF JEANS ON FIRE! AND PLUS, I COULD BE HELD LIABLE! DON'T DO IT! RESIST TEMPTATION!

that was my all caps rant of the day. anyway, i was at an All State chorus concert this weekend (I'm an alto, BTW) and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wicked sweet!!!! it is crazy how great 250 people can sound singing in 4-part harmony under the direction of someone really cool (Ken Taylor, i think was his name).......................................................................

unfortunately, this week i have the horridly horrid END-OF-GRADE standardized tests. *throws up all over some random kid's shoes* bad day, sad day, no-fun-at-all day.

guess what? you know how on my profile and stuff it says that i am a writer? well, i submitted a poem that i wrote to this devotional magazine for teens called DevoZine and they selected it for publication in the November/December issue. and, the best part by far, is that they

PAID ME FOR IT!!!!!!!!!

and so i am know 25 dollars richer, just for writing a poem about all the good things in my life. so wonderful, so nice, so good.......

i wish that i could speak another language.

i am jealous for sure of my friend Kris, who can blog en Espanol. i am really jealous. the only other language i can speak is one i invented called Ananovian (my middle name is Ananova) but it is complex signals and there are only two people in the known world that can write it (its a written language) and one of them is me and the other is my boyfriend. so, yeah.

but wouldn't it be nice to speak another language? i mean, that would just be the coolest thing ever!

hmmm.....what a horrid problem indeed.......do i have anything to say? well, i feel like i ought to point out that we have a big science test tomorrow, and an analogies quiz, and an algebra quiz, and the end-of-the-year-glow-in-the-dark dance is tomorrow too.......well, nothing else. i am watching lilo and stitch and now i need to go......

i thought of some rules.....

isn't it nice when you get physically exhausted by exercise while your mind remains alert? in this state of mind i came up with some rules for everyone in their lives. some are kind of contradictory (all of them are, actually) but they are nice rules all the same.

1. don't fall in love with your best guy friend because then when you break up it sucks because your relationship goes splat.....

2. do fall in love with your best guy friend because then you know them and they know you and that is a few less conversations that you have to have......

3. fall in love with your best friend's twin brother because a) you get a super secret spy into his life and b) she becomes your sister-in-law (kinda)........

4. don't fall in love with your best friend's twin brother because she tells you all these weird things about him like what he puts on Subway sandwiches and whether or not he can roll the 'r' in Spanish phrases. *cough kris cough*

i only follow two of these rules though (2 and 3) *giggle*

sigh giggle lalala.....OMG IS THAT A TORNADO?

yeah, there was a freakish tornado drill thingy at our school today because this huge super-cell low pressure system was like attacking the countryside so we had to sit out in the hall in total silence for like half an hour DELAYING our lunch and not allowing ANYONE to go to the bathroom. it was boring and nerve wracking and scary and weird and i thought that i was going to die without fulfilling my obsession and i was freaking out internally (but we had to be rEaLlY qUiEt so i wasn't freaking out aloud) but the danger is passed now.

but, even with that, i am so friggin happy! why am i so happy? what is wrong with me? people are dying and getting bad grades and not having courage and getting Swine Flu and starving and being dehydrated and abused and hooked on drugs and passing out from alcohol poisoning and this that and the other and yet i am still HAPPYHAPPYHAPPYHAPPY!!!!!!!

well, lets just hope that you aren't weird like me *cough q and kris cough*

bees as big as manhattan

no offense to anyone who actually lives in Manhattan and knows that a bee the size of Manhattan would like kill the world, but these things are killer huge bugs! i am not a bug person. i like butterflies and moths because they are poetic and ladybugs because i have always liked ladybugs but bees and crickets and flies and mosquitoes and things of that nature drive me up the wall.

now that i think about it, my brother drives me up the wall too. but he is not an insect. that would be really scary. I'm not too fond of spiders either. but, yeah, whatever, whoever, whenever.

nothing exciting happening with my obsession. no progress along the Brave Chicken Nugget Girl scale has been made, unless you count riding upside down roller coasters which of course has nothing to do with love or boys or anything.....

oh, snap, the voice tells me i gotta go. love!

*giggle* more friends with issues!

*giggles hysterically* i LOVE finding people who have more issues than me! it gives me an excuse not to blog about my issues and blog about theirs! *again with the giggling*

anyway, my friend (another girl, BTW) we went on this trip, right, to the state science geek competition, and another school in our county went too, so to save the planet and all we rode the same bus and so we didn't really know any of the kids, and my friend, the Lizard (i have referred to her before, in an earlier post long ago), she is WAY more outgoing than me, and so she turns around in her seat and starts talking to these four guys who were sitting behind us, who had surprisingly common names like Matt and Sam and Max and John......but, anyway, she turns around and starts talking to them, and she realizes that this one guy is really funny. and so she's like, 'hey, Skye, Sam is funny' (do you know how many Sam's there are in the world? you can't stalk this guy....unless ur the Lizard)

and, as so often happens, 'wow, he's funny' turned to 'wow, he's cute' and so not only did we have to stay up until way early listening at our hotel room door to hear him talking the Lizard has become a stalker-type-person because she remembered half of his last name and knew that he had said that his dad was a certain profession so she went through the phone book Yellow Pages for that profession with that part-of-a-last-name and so then she narrowed it down to 2 last names and Googled him and found his MySpace and Facebook pages.....

and i thought i can obsess a little more than necessary............
